Orange and Anaheim are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Panthers will host the Colonists at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Orange's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
If Orange beats Anaheim with 17 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Panthers blew past Bolsa Grande 17-11 on Friday. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.

Braxton Nock was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andres Marin-Lopez, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Orange kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, while Anaheim put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Saddleback. The Colonists came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roadrunners, sneaking past 2-0. That's two games straight that the Colonists have won by exactly two runs.
Anaheim saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddox Gramajo, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Orange is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Anaheim, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Orange was able to grind out a solid victory over Anaheim when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 11-7. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Colonists have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
