He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Xander Molina, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Bryce Vowles also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.

As for Grossmont, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 4-2.
