NCSSM: Durham had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Research Triangle - 7-0. NCSSM: Durham might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

NCSSM: Durham's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Research Triangle, they moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
