Crisp Academy took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Covenant Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crisp Academy Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Covenant Academy Rams 7-6 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Reese Reed was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. He also put up three RBI, which were his first of the season.

Crisp Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Covenant Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Coming up, Crisp Academy will host Fullington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
