The El Capitan Gauchos stacked a 17th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They really took it to Central Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-20 win at home. While fans of El Capitan might be used to big wins, the 48-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
El Capitan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avnoor Bains out in front who scored 11 points along with eight steals. Bains hasn't dropped below three steals for six straight games. Felicity Parker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
El Capitan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Central Valley, they dropped their record down to 3-23 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
El Capitan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
