The Quincy Trojans had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They managed a 45-41 win over Redding Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Quincy also won the last time the pair played on January 9th.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quincy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tatum Hughes, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Nussle, who scored 11 points.
Quincy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Redding Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Coincidentally, Quincy and the Lions will both be playing the Volcanoes the next time they take the court. Redding Christian will host Chester at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Quincy will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
