On Monday, Lynwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-42 to Harpeth Hall. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lynwood has scored all season.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zaliyah Castillo, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shanilah Ewing, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Lynwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Harpeth Hall, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Lynwood will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against San Ramon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Harpeth Hall and Fairview will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th at.
