Kristin Allen and Henny Charley were among the main playmakers for Bishop Union as the former dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds and the latter scored ten points along with seven steals and six assists. That's the first time this season that Allen pulled down eight or more rebounds. Analee Guerrero was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Kern Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past California City 66-21 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Kern Valley has posted against California City since December 21, 2018.
Kern Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayda Bushling, who scored 16 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Elliott, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bishop Union is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Kern Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
