The Design Tech Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the Gunn Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Design Tech will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Design Tech not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2025 (when they won 21-1). They blew past KIPP San Jose Collegiate 18-0. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won five in a row.

Logan Garrett and Branden Hom made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Garrett tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Hom struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Design Tech is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 0-3-1 otherwise. At bat, Garrett went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Hom went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Garrett has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Design Tech got a massive performance out of Aidan Tom, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases Tom has posted since back in April of 2025. Diego Carrasco also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.
Design Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.
Gunn let Monta Vista stack four runs on them in the third inning on Thursday but luckily Gunn prevailed anyway. The Titans came out on top against the Matadors by a score of 8-4.
Anders Lo was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Lo was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Gunn let Bo Kimble and Sam Bogart run wild. Kimble went 2-for-3 with one run and one double, while Bogart got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Seve Noh, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-4-1. As for Gunn, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-6.
Design Tech couldn't quite get it done against Gunn when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 5-0. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
