Luella's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Stephenson Jaguars with a sharp 15-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jayden Davis was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Luella is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Stephenson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Luella has already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against Houston County on the 15th. As for Stephenson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Douglass on the 15th.
