The Holy Redeemer Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Holy Redeemer had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They put the hurt on Marian Catholic with a sharp 71-45 victory. Holy Redeemer's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Wyoming Seminary College Prep at home against the on Monday as the squad secured a 52-23 win. With Wyoming Seminary College Prep ahead 37-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Holy Redeemer's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Everything went Holy Redeemer's way against the Blue Knights when the teams last played back in January as the Royals made off with a 46-24 win. Will Holy Redeemer repeat their success, or do the Blue Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
