The Falcon Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Widefield Gladiators at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Falcon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Falcon made easy work of Sierra and carried off a 17-2 win. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Ariana Campbell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Campbell was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

Like Falcon, Widefield also got a great game from a two-way player: Olivia McEwen. McEwen has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Falcon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Widefield struggles in that department as they've averaged .501. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Falcon suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Widefield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
