The Skyline Titans and the Washington Huskies, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Skyline's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Oakland as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Arthur Arestides made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Skyline is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-7 otherwise. Arestides was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Quincy Ray-Madway was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Dallas Tucker was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Skyline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakland only posted an OBP of .100.
Meanwhile, Washington was able to grind out a solid win over American two weeks ago, taking the game 5-2.
Hugo Marks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Peyton Romero was incredible, firing off two home runs and one stolen base while going 3-for-3. Those home runs were his first of the season.
Washington's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Skyline's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Titans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Washington, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Skyline continue to outrun the ball?
Skyline suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Washington in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Titans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
