Archbishop Alter entered their tilt with Carroll on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 55-0 shutout. That 55 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Noah Jones had a dynamite game, rushing for 92 yards and two scores on only ten carries. Rod Owens Jr. was another key player, rushing for 25 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Archbishop Alter was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 214 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Archbishop Alter's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Carroll, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
