The Redondo Union Sea Hawks are taking a road trip to  face off against the Downey Vikings  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Redondo Union will be strutting in after a  victory while Downey will be coming in after a  defeat.
On Friday, Redondo Union needed a bit of extra time to put away Yorba Linda. They walked away with  a   5-2  win over the Mustangs.
 Niko London looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only a  hit over four innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Ian Brown and  Mikey Ricardo did most of the damage at the plate:  Brown  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double, while  Ricardo  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Downey came up short against  San Juan Hills on Friday, falling  8-1.
 Downey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Morise Robinson, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double.
 The  victory  got Redondo Union back to even at 1-1. As for Downey, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
