Conestoga Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Claire Steiner, who scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Steiner has scored all season. Katie Denlinger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian School of York to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylie Bell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Bell is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Cally Carpenter, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Conestoga Christian bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Christian School of York, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conestoga Christian will face off against Octorara Area at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Octorara Area is ranked 645th, while Conestoga Christian is ranked 670th). As for Christian School of York, they will head out on the road to challenge Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
