If Orestimba wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played West Campus, they should've done a better job of containing Loismary Justice. West Campus was the clear victor by a 54-34 margin over Orestimba on Thursday for which the team can thank Justice, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mirella Fregoso, who posted seven points.

West Campus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Orestimba, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

West Campus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-31 win against Riverbank on the 12th. As for Orestimba, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against Valley Christian on the 12th.
