The Reseda Regents lost against the Kennedy Cougars back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Reseda was beaten by Kennedy 62-25. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reseda in their matchups with Kennedy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Andreya Villa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kennedy, scoring 18 points. The contest was Villa's third in a row with at least ten points. Leilani Richards was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Reseda bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.
Reseda will be playing in front of their home fans against Panorama at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Panorama has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. As for Kennedy, they will head out on the road to face off against San Fernando at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
