The Lindhurst Blazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 26th straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 43-21 loss at the hands of Sutter. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lindhurst in their matchups with Sutter: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Lindhurst had strong showings from Da'Naya Stephens, who scored six points along with five steals, and Daisha Pennington, who scored three points along with three steals.
It was another big night for Torrence Harter, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds for Sutter. Harter is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Grace Ketterling was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Lindhurst dropped their record down to 1-26 with that loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sutter, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.
Lindhurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sutter also has no future games currently scheduled.
