The Cochranton Cardinals lost against the Conneaut Area Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Cochranton took a 50-31 bruising from Conneaut Area.
When it comes to explaining why Cochranton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shelby McBryar. Despite the final result, she scored ten points.
Cochranton's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Conneaut Area, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
Cochranton will take on Cambridge Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conneaut Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Eisenhower at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
