The Gatewood Gators will face off against the Windsor Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Gatewood got the win against Westminster Christian Academy by a conclusive 13-6. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Wilson Moore, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ames Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Gatewood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westminster Christian Academy only managed three hits.
Eight must be Windsor Academy's lucky number: they beat Crisp Academy with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Knights beat the Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Blayne Bennett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Landon Harris was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three doubles, and one run. Those doubles were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Sims, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Gatewood's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Windsor Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-11.
Windsor Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gatewood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Windsor Academy, though, as they've only averaged .184. Will they be able to contain Gatewood's hitters?
