Columbia County Christian lost against Meadowbrook Christian in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 43-33 score last time.
Meadowbrook Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kailey Devlin led the charge by scoring 7 points along with 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Madalyn Fasnacht was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Columbia County Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Meadowbrook Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia County Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Juniata Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
