Packinghouse Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Norton Science & Language Academy Rockets 9-8.
Josh Hernandez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Elijah Randle, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Norton Science & Language Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Packinghouse Christian Academy will welcome Bethel Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bethel Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, they will be playing at home against Calvary Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
