After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Covenant Christian finally came back down to earth  on Thursday. They had to suffer through  a    45-7 loss at the hands of the Dallas Christian Chargers. The Cougars were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Covenant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dallas Christian, their win was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. Covenant Christian will face off against Lubbock Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups. As for Dallas Christian, they will challenge John Paul II at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st.
