Falmouth was the  3-1 winner over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Clippers took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dolphins on Monday.
 The  defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Dennis-Yarmouth Regional scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 20-25,  25-19.
 Layla Clunes paced Falmouth's offense, picking up 11 kills. Clunes got some help from  Kinleigh Mohan and her 18 assists.  Brooke Farrington and  Maia Ledwell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.
Falmouth's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Falmouth will take on Notre Dame Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they will square off against Dartmouth at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
