The Weskan Coyotes are taking a road trip to square off against the Triplains/Brewster Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Karsyn Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. He has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Dodger Allen also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wright, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Triplains/Brewster's offense. They had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of Cheylin.
Triplains/Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Weskan, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Weskan against Triplains/Brewster when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
