Basketball Recap: Pottsgrove Wins Going Away Against Dock Mennonite

Pottsgrove entered their tilt with Dock Mennonite on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Dock Mennonite Pioneers 55-41. The game marked the Falcons' most dominant win of the season so far.

Pottsgrove got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nyla'H Stubbs out in front who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Stubbs is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendra Ivory, who had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Pottsgrove's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Dock Mennonite, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pottsgrove will head out to challenge Upper Merion Area at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dock Mennonite, they will head out on the road to face off against MAST Community Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
