After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atascadero, Nipomo was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Orcutt Academy Spartans get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. With that win, the Titans brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Travis Barr was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Eli Silveira was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
Barr wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Nipomo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orcutt Academy only managed one hit.

As for Orcutt Academy, they will challenge Bishop Diego at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Orcutt Academy has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
