Spectrum won their last match against Harding, and it was the same story this time around. Spectrum put a hurting on Harding to the tune of 68-28. Followers of Spectrum probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Spectrum's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 44 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Harding couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 44-0 heading into the break. Spectrum put the contest away in the third quarter with 16 points from the offense and eight points allowed from the defense. The victory bumped their record up to 5-0. Harding are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Spectrum will stay at home next week against St. Agnes at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Spectrum skips in on five wins and St. Agnes on four. As for Harding, they will face off against St. Anthony Village.
