The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 20-7 to Royalton, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Royalton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.
Despite the loss, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg still got an impressive performance from Jett Olson, who gained 121 total yards and a touchdown.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Royalton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Royalton will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Eden Valley-Watkins at 2:00 p.m. on October 28th. Eden Valley-Watkins is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
