The Clovis North Broncos will be playing at home against the Clovis West Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Clovis North will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Clovis North narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Buchanan 2-1.
Clovis North was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Sommer Nestman and
Addison Posey, who scored both of Clovis North's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 25 so far this season.
Even though Clovis West has not done well against Clovis recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Clovis West's defense stepped up to hand Clovis a 2-0 shutout.
Clovis North is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3-2 record this season. As for Clovis West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-5.
