Eisenhower is 0-3 against Bloomington since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bruins at 3:45 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Eisenhower will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Carter, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles came out on top against the Lions by a score of 6-3 on Thursday.

Denzel Sahagun spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. Eisenhower is 3-1 when Sahagun allows one or fewer earned runs, but 2-12 otherwise.
At the plate, Eisenhower let Eric Gutierrez and Derek Mendoza run wild. Gutierrez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI, while Mendoza got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Joshua Aguilar also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bloomington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Rancho Verde 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Adan Jimenez was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Velazquez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Bloomington, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Eisenhower has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bloomington struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
