Newnan put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Everything went their way against the Banneker Trojans as the Newnan Cougars made off with a 22-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Newnan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Banneker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Newnan Cougars face off against Starr's Mill Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Banneker, they will face off against Morrow at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Morrow is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
