On Friday, the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack's's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Pleasant Grove by a score of 56-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cosumnes Oaks.
Isabel Tan was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with nine steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Cosumnes Oaks' points. Caitlin Subejano was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Cosumnes Oaks pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Pleasant Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
Cosumnes Oaks will head out on the road to face off against Davis at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Davis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Cosumnes Oaks likes a good challenge. As for Pleasant Grove, they will be playing at home against Elk Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Elk Grove is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
