The Rialto Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Colton on the road to the tune of 76-29. Rialto might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six games by 22 points or more this season.
Carrington Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 36 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Rialto's points. Destiny Rabino was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Zoey Espino and Savannah Govea certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Espino scored nine points, while Govea scored ten points. The contest was Govea's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Colton struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Rialto pulled down 18 offensive rebounds.
Rialto pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Colton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
Rialto will take on Victor Valley in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Colton will be home for the holidays to greet La Sierra at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully La Sierra focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
