They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-32 victory over Coventry Christian. Despite the loss, Coventry Christian saw an underclassman step up: Abby McCafferty scored five points along with 19 rebounds and six assists. McCafferty has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Cianci, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Clearfield Alliance Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Coventry Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
