The Neodesha Blue Streaks will venture away from home to face off against the Parsons Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neodesha's defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so Parsons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
Neodesha is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 37-6 victory over Fredonia/Elk Valley. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Blue Streaks with their most commanding win of the season.

Cole Ramey produced another solid performance picking up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 116 yards and one score on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Camryn White helped out on the ground, rushing for 113 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Neodesha was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Neodesha didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ramey. Neodesha got some further help from J'Vonte White: he picked up a sack, made seven total tackles (5.0 for loss), and defended one pass.
Meanwhile, Parsons ended up a good deal behind Frontenac on Friday and lost 28-14. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Neodesha will have to contain Chandler Hentzen as he made an impact in Parsons' last game. He rushed for 152 yards and one TD. An impressive showing, but Hentzen really ramped things up playing D: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 21 total tackles.
Even if they lost, Parsons' defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Hentzen, Brelin Summers, and Dakaryi Jones, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Frontenac's side was Summers, who picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles.
Neodesha pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Parsons, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Neodesha might still be hurting after the 38-13 defeat they got from Parsons in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Blue Streaks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
