It was a good run, but Agoura unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Newbury Park Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Agoura's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Newbury Park, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-6.

While Agoura had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
