It was a good run, but the San Dimas Saints unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crescenta Valley.
Despite the loss, San Dimas still got an impressive performance from Janessa Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kamora Fletcher, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
San Dimas' loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Crescenta Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
San Dimas' road trip will continue as they head out to face Diamond Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Diamond Ranch will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 418th, while San Dimas is ranked 161st). As for Crescenta Valley, Crescenta Valley and Burroughs will face off at 6:45 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a eight-game winning streak alive.
