Baseball Recap: Christian Wins Going Away Against Valhalla

Christian barely beat Valhalla the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Norsemen on Wednesday. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Chase Togerson was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Molina, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valhalla only posted a batting average of .292.

The win made it two in a row for Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Valhalla, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Christian has already played their next match, a 6-4 win against Lone Peak on the 1st. As for Valhalla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-4 victory against Scripps Ranch on the 1st.
