The Ontario Christian Knights will face off against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ontario Christian headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for five straight, but Century let them put that streak behind them. The Knights never let the Centurions get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Brady Dinco made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Ontario Christian is 2-1 when Dinco posts two or more runs, but 3-12 otherwise.
In other pitching news, Ontario Christian got a great performance from Dominic Schmidt as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Nate Morales, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dean Cruz, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arrowhead Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Patriot by a score of 6-1 on Friday.
Like Ontario Christian, Arrowhead Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Brayden Bennett. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Bennett has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
Bennett wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Deegan Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Arrowhead Christian has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Ontario Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
