Having just played yesterday, the Meade Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Wilde Lake Wildecats at 9:00 p.m. on December 28th. Meade will be looking to keep their 16-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
On Wednesday, Meade was fully in charge, breezing past Francis Scott Key 63-33 at home. That looming 63-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Meade yet this season.
Lucaya Baldridge was his usual excellent self, scoring ten points. Ashton Turman was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Wilde Lake's 21-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Magruder on Wednesday. Wilde Lake has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meade's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Wilde Lake, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Meade against Wilde Lake in their previous matchup back in December of 2015 as the squad secured a 99-46 win. With Meade ahead 58-19 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
