Amador Valley and Livermore are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Dons will head out to square off against the Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Amador Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Amador Valley's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Rancho Mirage as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Dons as they're now sitting on three straight.

At the plate, Kade Robertson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gavin Colombo was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Amador Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Livermore fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Dublin on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gaels by a score of 6-5. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Livermore also got a good showing from Erik Schock, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, Livermore saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Maas, who scored a run while going 1-for-5.
Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Amador Valley, their record now sits at an identical 10-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Amador Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Livermore struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
