The South Hills Huskies will head out to face off against the Colony Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with South Hills sitting on seven straight victories and Colony on 12.
On Friday, it was close, but South Hills sidestepped San Dimas for a 4-2 win. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly two runs.

Elias Reyes tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
Colony let Los Altos stack four runs on them in the first inning on Friday but luckily Colony prevailed anyway. The Titans skirted past the Conquerors 5-4. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by just one run.
The team relied heavily on Elijah Ybanez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Jeremy Guadian was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Colony hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive contests.
Colony's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for South Hills, their record now sits at 17-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. South Hills has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Colony struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
South Hills took their victory against Colony in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
