Cincinnati Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Serena Cyprien led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 5 steals. Addison Raby was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Despite the loss, Dunbar saw an underclassman step up: Donisha Davis scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. Davis scored a full 58.1% of Dunbar's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Cincinnati Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dunbar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Cincinnati Christian will head out on the road to face off against Lockland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dunbar, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Belmont at 6:00 p.m.
