Chula Vista has struggled against Victory Christian Academy recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Chula Vista's loss came despite strong showings from Malissa Mckoy and Karla Lozano. Mckoy scored nine points along with 11 rebounds, while Lozano scored four points. That was a full 39.1% of Chula Vista's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Chula Vista now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Victory Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
