The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack waltzed into their game Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 57-51 W over Davis Sr.. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cosumnes Oaks also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Isabel Tan, who scored 25 points along with five steals. The matchup was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Subejano, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Cosumnes Oaks pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Davis Sr., this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cosumnes Oaks will take on St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Francis is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Davis Sr., they will head out on the road to face off against Elk Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Elk Grove comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
