Geibel Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Avella Eagles 61-36. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Geibel Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Larkin out in front who went 11 of 27 en route to 24 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Larkin has scored at least a third of Geibel Catholic's points. Ava Henderson was another key player, going 6 for 15 on her way to 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Geibel Catholic's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Avella, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
