Riverside Prep typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Colony proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Silver Knights. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Noah Lara was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ricardo Zazueta, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Garcia, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
