Olivia Meisner and Taylor Rae Jones were among the main playmakers for Williamson as the former dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds and the latter scored 25 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Meisner has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 17 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Avery Vinsek, who scored eight points.
Athens' loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Williamson, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
